Which substances are on our banned list?
In our list of banned substances, we specify the maximum values for application concentrations or possible impurities and ban more than 60 individual substances as well as various groups of substances that we do not use for our products.

In detail, these are:
- Critical solvents
- Certain colour pigments
- Organic halogenated ingredients
- Nitrosamine forming systems
- Certain fragrance allergens
- Ingredients derived directly from the animals, such as beef tallow
- Chelating agents
- Formaldehyde separators such as preservatives
- Volatile silicones
- Solid microplastic particles
Raw materials that we do not use because of special sustainability requirements also end up on our banned list:
- Natural substances that are derived from endangered species according to the CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) or IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) lists.
- Mica (mica) may only be purchased from selected suppliers.
